WELCOME
As a little girl, I grew up on a farm in Illinois, developing a deep passion for people, animals, and the rural lifestyle, enjoying every little detail along the way.
As a livestock illustrator and artist, specializing in beef animals, I’ve come to appreciate all of the breeds of cattle from the stoic Angus, Hereford, and Charolais, to the color and patterns of the Shorthorns, Reds and Belted Galloway, to the distinct styles of the Maines, Chi, and Gelbvieh. Each breed is an artwork in itself and has its place. Whether it be the feedlot steer feeding the world, the cow-calf herd on green, lush grass, or the club calves bred for the spotlight in the green shavings, each animal is an important part of the beef industry, and it is my privilege to document and immortalize this on paper.
I have been blessed with an awesome talent, and because of that, I wish to present my work in a high-quality format. My prints are printed on “museum quality” archival rag paper, which means that it is made of 100% cotton using pigment inks, resulting in a lasting print rich in color and tone. I print my work myself so that each is under my watchful eye. Just like the art prints, I strive to use that same quality of craftsmanship with my children’s books. The hardcover books are created using beautiful papers and are gallery bound with the intention that each book be passed down from one generation to the next.
